b. Solar Water Pumping System - operation, Types, Specifications, Advantages & Limitations

  • Battery - classification, parameters, types, Ageing factors
  • Charge Controller - selection, PWM & MPPT
  • Inverter - types, Off-grid & On-grid (central, string, multi-string, modular inverter)
  • Mounting Structure - portable, stationary and tracking
  • Direct Current Cables - Sizing and codes
  • Junction and Distribution Boxes

g.  Application of PVsyst software & Google SketchUp & Helioscope in Solar Power Plant designing (participants will not be provided the copy of the software. Participant has to carry his/her own Laptop).
